Unseen Guest Ministry
The Unseen Guest Food Pantry Ministry is dedicated to serving our community by providing frozen meals and shelf-stable items to those in need of temporary assistance with food. The Ministry also offers several child-friendly items. We have kids' meals and "After School Snack Packs" that provide a week's worth of snacks for school-age children.
When a family sits down for a meal they are always joined by an unseen guest: Jesus Christ. Through this ministry, we hope to bring Christ, the unseen guest, to the homes of our friends.
Food pick-up is available every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Volunteers Needed
We would love your help! We’re looking for volunteers to join us for just one two-hour shift each month on Tuesday or Thursday from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. to assist with distributing food. Additionally, we have special cooking days at the church where your culinary skills can make a difference in the number of frozen meals we can offer. Come join our caring team and make a positive impact in the lives of others!
Useful Items
The most useful items for the pantry are: peanut butter, jelly, spaghetti and sauce, canned soup, canned pasta, and canned meat, but all items received are welcome.
You may deposit your items in the baskets in the Narthex or take them directly to the Pantry Room (next to the Nursery).
Monetary Donations
If you write a check to St. Anne’s with ‘Unseen Guest” in the subject line, you will be given credit for your donation on your contribution statement. Contributions are used to purchase the foil meal trays and the items used on cooking days.
